MCT Grenada's Test to Primary Schools

The Curriculum Department together with the Testing and Examination Department every year has embacked on gathering information on students learning ability in Mathematics and Language Arts. To accomplish this goal, the Ministry of Education has developed Minimun Competency Test for grades 2 and 4 for primary schools in Grenada. This test is done once every year. The data collected are being studied and the results sent to education officers and schools.

Hi Lydon ,
I'm your WikiNeighbour.
I see you are planning to add some math notation, it's the perfect moment to start using the powerful [math]\mathrm{L\!\!^{{}_{\scriptstyle A}} \!\!\!\!\!\;\; T\!_{\displaystyle E} \! X} \,[/math] codes in order to render clear & good looking formulas like this one: [math]x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}[/math]. Seems familiar to you? Absolutely.
  • 2 I'm also working in the creation of a comprehensive collection of [math]\mathrm{L\!\!^{{}_{\scriptstyle A}} \!\!\!\!\!\;\; T\!_{\displaystyle E} \! X} \,[/math] symbology help page: Help:LaTeX_Symbol_Tables. This job is still in progress, please visit the project, I'd love you hear your suggestions and, If you wish, join me!

  • 3. Practice the codes in your Sandbox. Once you feel confident, you may want to learn more. Great! look around some of the thousands of pages we have in WE, if you find [math]\mathrm{L\!\!^{{}_{\scriptstyle A}} \!\!\!\!\!\;\; T\!_{\displaystyle E} \! X} \,[/math] symbols, switch the page to edit mode and study the codes. Copy and paste them in your sandbox, we always learn from others, that's the wiki way.

  • 4. I highly recommend you to visit the Content page, where you will find most of the current projects we are developing in WikiEducator. Click on the Math or Physics Projects, you will find more pages with math symbols to learn from. Click here for more projects.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. Just drop me a message in my Talk Page or Reply this message. I will come back.

Have fun while learning. Gladys Gahona. --chela5808 01:21, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
