I just finished reading Wikinomics. It is an excellent book about Wikis and collaboration. It leaves you with a real empowering sense that we may be able to control our own destiny through small groups working together. It is becoming clearer and clearer that we can not wait on our governments to take action. They are far to busy with their own self interest. I'm looking forward to working on WikiEducator to become a part of a collaboration effort to help educate our children. I have seen first hand how politicians, bureaucrats and unions can all loose sight of the goal to educating our children in pursuit of their own interests, it is an unmitigated disaster!
