How to increase effectiveness of mobile learning https://www.edsurge.com/news/2016-07-09-how-and-why-we-can-improve-the-future-of-mobile-learning

This article gives 3 reasons as to how mobile learning should be improved upon to increase it's potential in our society: creating flexible experiences for students (providing academic materials in formats readable to different devices), integrating experiences across different devices, and utilizing non-educational resources (such as Skype, YouTube, etc.) for academic purposes. It closes by stating that even though we view our smartphones and tablets as devices to be used for entertainment, we should understand that these technologies have extreme potential to be used for academia. I think that this article would be good to use as a resource for future classes. .. Reyna

Being a College Student, i wanted to see how and what they survey would say about "What do College students think about mobile learning..." I wanted to know if they agreed with me or disagreed.

Seeing as if most student's do their school work on laptops, which is kind of what I do, bigger screen, keyboard and easier to use. 1 question that was asked was do you you wish to use your mobile devices more: well I thought that would have been a yes, it is kind of easy to do on the go, BUT I was wrong and 48% felt that they were using their mobile devices enough and some of them even wanted to use phones less! Good survey, I liked it and good information, even when what I thought was going to be wrong. ..Stephanie

This a great website and app that a friend recommended to me when I enrolled in a foreign language course at school. Its completely free and incredibly easy to use. I used it in congruence with the course I was taking and it made all of the course content so much easier to digest. There is a massive list of languages you can choose from as well. The app provides really simple exercises that start with basic language skills and graduate to more advanced skills. This pertains to the course because it epitomizes all we have learned. Technology is evolving rapidly and we as humans are evolving right along with it in ways that are furthering our individual intelligence and group intelligence as a whole. .. Molly
