Professional background
- Saint Kentigern College is a New Zealand, Presbyterian Co-educational Independent School, Yr 7-13.
- I am currently the E-Learning Facilitator working across the whole school to provide professional learning and support to teachers in the classroom.
- There are many reasons to not use digital tools as part of you teaching practice but one huge reason to: you are now teching and learning in the 21st Century.
- Myself and a few teacher went to visit Albany Senior High School (ASHS), Auckland NZ - one of the newest schools in NZ. Its physical buildings and timetable and content are reflective of the thoughts and processes behind a school of a 21st century learning space. Reflection on what we saw adn heard was interesting, we left the school feeling inspired and joyed to see soemone taking the leap.
