My name is Sean Corbie
I am an information technology lecturer and a semi-professional photographer. I am currently attending a Wiki Workshop in Barbados facilitated by Dr. Wayne Mackintosh. Dr. Mackintosh is the founder of the Wiki Educator project and a specialist in elearning. This workshop is important for me in that the development of online learning is one of the learning strategies that are being adopted by my institution, The College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago.
- The Wiki development platform is internet-based using the open source software concept and all the tools used are open source. A robust low-cost developmental platform.
The benefits of using Wiki Educator is that one is able to:

- Collaborate
in the development of learning material within the Wiki environment.
On a personal note I am married and the father of two boys and a girl. My wife is the General Manager of a Shipping Company and is currently pursuing her MBA. My eldest son is a Morehouse Scholar and is a consultant petroleum analyst. My second son has recently entered UWI studying Math and Computer Science, he is a Taekwondo Black Belt and coach. My daughter is now about to write the CSEC exams; she is also a Taekwondo Black Belt and the current National and Caribbean Junior Heavyweight Taekwondo Champion.
