Qualifications and activities

My studies have been completed through UKZN. My particular interest is information literacy. My highest qualification is a PhD which dealt with designing an approach to teaching legal information literacy for law students in South Africa. The process has been invaluable in terms of helping postgraduate students with

  • proposal writing
  • literature reviews
  • survey instruments
  • putting a thesis together

I have been invovled in a Carnegie sponsored project designed to upskill librarians to better support researchers. A 2 week academy looking at all aspects of research and a 6 week internship in the USA at the University of Chicago and the University of St Louis were part of the deal.
