Pupils singularly or in groups
Name some cabbage tree or flax leaves (1 or 2 first time around)
Take the leaf and attach (tie loosely) to something in the school
Place a mark on the school map where it has been located
When all groups have attached their leaves maps are swapped
Groups hunt for other teams leaves and retrieve
Could be timed for competition
Repeat, except pupils write or draw a description of where the leaves have been attached on blank paper
