Objectives

1.Introduction

-Teacher introduces him/herself as an introduction (Verbally) -Pass out written document/handouts on the teacher's story (refer sample on Peter Akori)

Students read it.(15 Minutes)

2. Body

Students are put into groups of 5 and introduce themselves one by one while the other members take note of their member's talk. The students go back to their desk and write about one of their friend's background information.(Teacher moves around to ensure that everyone is writing about another person and not the same person). (This should take about 20 minutes) Teacher should ask for volunteers or pick on a student at a time to read to the class about their friends background.Teacher to interrupt and make collections at anytime.

3.Conclusion

Teacher summaries the lesson by giving the students a project to interview their neighbours with interview questionairs.(5Minutes)
