Professional background

Write something here ...'I have worked in different positions: from Augustto October 2008, I worket as an undergraduate intern with the Institute of Research and Dialogue for Peace (IRDP)in Kigali, Rwanda. From 09/2009 – 03/2010, I worked as a graduate intern with the Civil Peace Service (ZFD), a department of the German Development Service (DED) in Kigali/Rwanda where as a self starter intern my work consisted in the identification, formulation, implementation, follow up, monitoring,evaluation and documentation of new peace projects involving youth at the Kimisagara Youth Centre, where I was based in one of DED`s offices. There, I also served as a Communication and Documentation Officer of the Great Lakes Youth Summit (GLYS) a five months project, financed by the German Cooperation (GTZ, DED), the Rwandan Ministry of Youth and executed by the Kimisagara Youth Centre. The GLYS aimed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kigali Declaration on Youth Empowerment but also as a junior trainer of the youth in conflicts prevention/ resolution and transformation techniques.From 03/2010 to 06/2010 I worked with UMUSEKE Asbl ( a Rwandan NGO active in peace education) as a consultant in peace education research and participated in the drafting of a report commissioned by Umuseke on ‘’ The implications of the Youth in Conflict Management Process in Rwanda'. From mid June to early September, 2010, I worked as a Projects Manager with Legacy XP, a Rwandan leading business enterprise active in marketing, commercial and broadcasted branding and events management.I occupied this position until I came to Coventry University in the United Kingdom in late mid September to pursue my postgraduate studies. Prior to coming to Coventry University, I was requested by Umuseke on behalf of Noyau de Paix, a rwandan platform bringing together dozen of NGOS active in peace work in Rwanda, to facilitate a one day study of the 'Context of Peace in Rwanda' and I produced a report thereto related.

I describe myself as a simple guy,open,others considerate, self confident, self starter, challenges lover, quick learner and results oriented and hard working guy.

Education

Write something here ...'In December 2005, I completed my advanced certificate in Latin, Biology and Chemistry at the Cyangugu Catholic Saint Aloys Junior Seminary (Rwanda). I hold a BA in International Relations and Social Sciences (Distinction) with a major in Peace and Development Studies obtained in July 2009 from the Protestant University of Central Africa based in Yaounde/ Cameroon'. A Ferguson Trust Scholar, I am actually pursuing a one years Masters of Arts in Peace and Reconciliation Studies at Coventry University, United Kingdom where I am based since mid- September 2010 up to my graduation in early November, 2011. I am also taking an extracurricula course on Global Leaders Programme leading to a certficate by Coventry University in Global Leadership.
