Profile
My name is Dr. Meenu Mohil.I am a lecturer in Department of Physics in Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. Our principal is Dr.Savithri_Singh and vice principal is Dr.Sunita Hooda. Our college Library is well equipped with latest books , headed by our librarian Ms. Veena Saini. I did my B.Sc(H) Physics from Hans Raj college. I completed my M.Sc Physics and Ph.D in Astroparticle Physics from Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi. I started my teaching career from this college in 1998. This college is primarily a science college known for its academic excellance.I was introduced to linux in 1997 during my Ph.D when a very few people were aware of linux operating system.
At present
At present I am attending a workshop on wikieducator08 in A.N.D. College. I am finding it quite intersting.

My hobbies include reading, cooking and keeping my home well arranged.In my free time in college I like to interact with my students and help them in solving their problems.

My Idea of Education
Education in all its forms is essential to sustainable development as it increases the capacities of people to transform their visions of society into operational realities. Education not only provides the required scientific and technical skills; it also generates the motivation, justification and social support for pursuing and applying them. Education makes a person more knowledgeable, better informed, ethical, wiser, morally responsible and capable of continuing to learn. Education is humanity’s best hope and most effective means in the quest to achieve sustainable development.
