                                           Wiki educator
Wiki educator as domain first registered  in February 2006. It is hosted as website  on desk top machine at the university of Auckland. It was nurtured and incubated by commonwealth of organization. Now it is an independent initiative and hosted by OER foundation charitable non –profitable organization. Media wiki software  runs wikieducator.
                                     Wiki educator community
It is the social community .It  is developed around the project and ideas. It  is networked society. Knowledge citizen can participate.  It aims to develop open content resources in support  of all national curricula .It is compatible to the commitment ‘Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet has free access to the sum of all human knowledge’   Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia.
