My Profile

Professional Background

I've worked in the following careers and the ones in italics are ones I currently still work in!

  • Nurse
  • Primary Teacher
  • P.A. for Nutrimetics Sales Director
  • Nutrimetics Sales Consultant
  • Prenzel Pantry Agent
  • Teacher Aide
  • Arts and Culture Coordinator
  • Sales Person at JB HiFi

I work at Papatoetoe High School and I have two parts to my job. I am the Arts and Culture Coordinator for the school and I also work as a Teacher Aide alongside the Learning Centre and the RTLB's at our school.

Next year I would like to keep the Arts and Culture part of my job and perhaps take on some classes of my own. I enjoy working with students in this age range and find my job exhausting, but also very rewarding.

My Interests

I love art, music, gardening, food and wine. I enjoy wandering around by the beach or in the bush when I can find the time. I teach Girls Brigade to 13-18 year olds and go to a fun, busy church called Manukau City Baptist.

I live in Manukau City which is part of Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand and is called the City of Sails. I am lucky to live in such a beautiful country, but sometimes would just love to pack up my bags and go and live in an area that is more rural and live right next to the beach!

I am married to a fantastic guy called Daniel and have one daughter called Holly who is a real smart cookie. I am blessed with an amazing family and wonderful group of friends and colleagues.

I'll be adding some soon.
