Hi, There! My name is Doris Molero and I am an EFL Professor at Universidad Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacin in Maracaibo Venezuela. Just finished pursuing a doctorate in Sciences of Education specializing in curriculum and instruction at URBE. My doctoral research was based on the use of web 2.0 tools as multiliterate agents in the EFL Class at university level. I hold a master degree on Educational Informatics (2002) and graduated from Modern Language School at Universidad del Zulia (1991). I have taught English as a foreign language to high school and adult learners for 19 years.

My online and face to face teaching and learning experiences includes joining the Webheads in Action , creating and moderating the EFL University , a Ning social network that works as a CoP where EFL students and teachers practice and learn together how to use web 2.0 tools to learn English as a foreign Language. Also participates with her students at International Collaboration . Currently working in the tagging and aggregating blog project Writigmatrix and different projects we are invited to by teachers and students around the world.

Her blog Doris3m EFL Center is a class blog where blogging is modeled and students subscribe to receive class announcements or interesting posts in their mail boxes. Working with students from different levels and disciplines justified the creation of different blogs to satisfy their necessities called Doris3m EFL Center English for Work. This blog connects to a wiki Environment for Engineering Solutions to a Green Problem where students from engineering school try to propose green solutions to problems caused to the environment by their field of expertise, Doris3m EFL Center Writing Group, Doris 3m EFL Center Speaking Group. All of these blogs use different Web 2.0 tools to promote social interaction and cultural understanding. Facebook came along and Doris3m EFL Center Facebook CoP is also there, too.

My teaching and learning style is an ecliptic approach that involves Project based learning, Multiliteracies, High order thinking skills, 21st century skills, Connected Knowledge, Constructivism, collaborative learning, web 2.0 and communicative language.
