OR you can go to the place personal. With our credit bureau we don't have a choice, they actually take charge of your credit scores, social security information, and everything else. We have to trust them with our information if we like it or not. As their data have been breached, as many as millions have been impacted, Yet they only tell you whether you have or haven't been infected and only give you a few options. When whistleblower Edward Snowden leaked information about the NSA recording our data and able to see what we surf on the internet. People started to become aware of our own Government is surveilling us online and ignoring our privacy. Surfing the Internet today in age, you have to be aware where you visit and how websites records your data and uses it. Such as when you search information about buying a new iPhone, suddenly when you visit other websites for a different unrelated matter, you start seeing Apple Ads everywhere. What’s a good tip for protecting yourself over there internet. Many laptops come with a built in webcam which can be very useful when chatting with friends, but no go useful when you get hacked and someone is watching you. Good effective why is to place a non transparent tape over the cam. Even the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has been caught doing this method as well.

Many companies have had their share of cyber attacks, Such as Sony’s PSN network was taken down for almost a month, or Experian’s data breach that affected many people. These attacks are quick, sudden and sometimes silent. In the article, Most Cyber researchers believe our government wouldn’t be able to protect itself from a cyberattack. If hackers from another country or even freelancers are able to access beyond the government but other things to such as energy or financial departments, it would be a disaster.

The Dark Web is a safe haven for criminals on internet. There are many rumors about the Dark web being extremely dangerous but it's used to scare people from not using. Although its still an unsafe place to be in, The dark web is the underside of the internet were you can stay anonymous without being surveillance by the government. Dark web is known for a place to purchase illegal drugs, fake IDs, firearms and many other things, but majority of the sites are scams. They use Bitcoin as currency as its untraceable when transfered. While many journalists use the dark web to investigate any confidential leaks and news that you can't find over the regular internet. Net Neutrality has been a huge topic back in 2017, and still is today. The FCC has officially repelled Net Neutrality, which gives ISP full control on what we can do and see on the internet. Now that Net Neutrality has been repelled, this article talks about how it can affect you. They say the internet won’t really change since it was already changed even before Net Neutrality came to be. Even then, it matters between the consumer and the ISP. Now with our homes being equipment with IOT technology, how will those be affected. We don’t see changes now, but in the future, ISPs can start upping the prices on their internet packages and controlling the speed to websites.

The biggest launch failure I can think of is the launch of the Samsung Note 7. Samsung was well known for their smart phones and LCD TVs, releasing more elegant technology every year. Competing with other companies, Samsung also started to launch a new phone every year. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 released and many people started to report that their phone caught on fire because of a battery defect. Samsung recalled their phones and sent out replacements, only for those to catch on fire too. They cease production of the Note 7 after that incident. Samsung took responsibility for the defects and told consumers they will make things right. They called up their developers and engineers to work out the problem, so it would never have those kinds of issues again. (Best)

I read amongst the list of entrepreneurs who failed and were able to go back to the top. Steve jobs is the one i remember where he built a company from the ground up with the help of his colleagues. Eventually he became too single minded with one product, and hard to work with, got thrown out of his own company he built. He created another company to compete with Apple, although they didn't seem to catch up to Apple's success, they eventually got bought by Apple, and was appointed CEO once more. From there on, he would end up creating a bunch of wonderful products we use today.

We are always connected online thru our smartphone. When we need quick directions, or watch a tutorial video on how to tie a tie, or even check your social media on what your friends are up to. Always wanting to stay connected. It wasn't always like this as back in the days, we only used phones to talk and text. Some phones were programmed for a downgraded web browser, it was hard to navigate and really expensive to use at the time. Until many companies such as Apple and Samsung launched their Smartphone devices. At this instances everyone got connected to the internet, being able to talk beyond just talk and text. We can now communicate with people we haven't meet across the country with our smartphones with the right applications. Our smartphones have almost become a part of us now. (Best)

Many stores just has Target or Starbucks offer free WiFi while inside. Now my own city, San Jose, installed base stations around the city and you can access the internet while your in downtown. Google has been working on this for years now. Trying to bring wifi to the whole world with their Google Station. With this, you can access the internet for free anytime. Facebook and other companies are also trying to bring internet to the world, with some methods as launching a satellite in space like we do with GPS, and able to transmit WiFi signal to the world. Soon or later you'll be able to access the internet in a desert or middle of the ocean.

Many students brought this up during a discussion. Google’s event I/O 2018 presented the future technology of their system Android, how their technology can be further advanced. They are focusing their attention to their AI assistant able to communicate with you without much hassle. They’ve updating a lot of they’re features they offer such as Maps, News, and other things. As I read thru the article, Google is trying to implement Google Assistant with a lot of the features they have now. The date might be misinterpreted because many do believe Apple has a good grasp of the Market Share of smartphones, but Samsung is proven that it does have more. Nokia did have a huge share back in 2009, but started going down with the evolution of smartphones. Other cellular companies have they tiny share in the market such as Huawei
