I am Arthur Edgar E. Smith, Senior Lecturer of English in the Language Studies Department, Fourah Bay College in the University of Sierra Leone. I live on campus at Hostel 21b Lower Faculty, Fourah Bay College. I am also involved in creative writing. I am a member of PEN SIERRA lEONE CHAPTER, where I am the editor. I was born in Freetown in the east-end where I grew up. I was schooled at the Holy Trinity School for Boys, the Prince of Wales School, the Albert Academy and Fourah Bay College. I hold a B.A., Dip. Ed. and a Masters in African Literature all from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
