Professional background

My professional background is as a Nutritionist, but I came to work with people and computers when my son started school. He was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome and the teachers needed help. Helping in the classroom became helping with ICT, which became a job. I have worked at Hillcrest Normal Primary school for 10 years and am now the IT Manager, working with teachers, students and equipment.

Education

My formal education is a Masters in Science, and my less formal education has been 10 years of one the job learning.

My interests

Professional

My goal is to support teachers with their transition to intergrating ICT into their teaching. I find the process very interesting and challenging.

Personal

I love gardening, cooking and reading, with this years aim to grow all of my vegetables from seed.

My wiki projects

My optional community service (learning contract) project
