mmmm -- thinking about logical order here. Shouldn't this section on: What do I need to know before using this handbook? Be the first section of this chapter -- or even some kind of preface to the handbook.

Perhaps this is a legacy from an earlier iteration -- but the subsection seems out of sequence here.

We could also include sections on How to use the book, and the bullets Kim suggested above.

I moved this section up to the front of the book.

I didn't add any information to the section, though. Added to issue tracker.

I added most of your edits to the document.

Two things:

1) I think Wayne has specific reasons for mentioning K-18 educators in the introduction. I tried changing the sentence to mention K-18 educators, while being inclusive of other groups. 2) We need to decide whether or not we are going to do case study-type tutorials before we can add text to that effect in the Preface.

Ok, I had removed K-18 - but put it back. Re case study-type tutorials - agreed. I assume we can remove the link to "Preface" under "Introduction" on the front page? (or do we still need it for some of the navigation templates?

I've moved the "Preface" link to the deprecated sections. I'd like to keep it there, though the deprecated sections may eventually disappear.
