Recommend using a wiki poll
I recommend using a wiki poll rather than a third party website for two reasons:
- Using the wiki, the data posted by the user will be licensed under an open content license
- We have no control over advertising on a third party website (The WikiEducator community prefers education materials which are advert free.)
I've set up an example here should the course developers decide to go with this option. Students will need to login to cast their poll. This prevents multiple polls from the same user (but they can change their poll at any time) and will provide us with the advantage of automating participation records in the course if needed in the future.
I've transcluded the poll from this page http://wikieducator.org/OERUPSY101/Myths_and_Misconceptions_poll which will give flexibility to use a new poll with each cohort (or keep a running tally).
