Policy Documents

Hi,

I'm working on a policy for NZ Schools. I also need to create brochures - one for Boards of Trustees/Governors and one for teachers. I'm uncertain as to the best way to collaborate on these publications. Shall we ignore the graphics and concentrate on text include graphics? The final brochure could be uploaded for others to use.

Hi

If you are looking for images you may want to check out the mediawiki commons website (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) that has close to 5 million freely usable media files. To incorportate them into your brochures all you need to do is use the image syntax as if the image resided on WikiEducator. For example [[Image:Book3.svg|50px|right]] results in:

Book3.svg

which is a scalable vector graphic image uploaded directly from the commons.

Hope this helps.
