No new message notice

Hi folks,

I no longer get a message informing me that I have a new message. Did I tweak a setting somewhere? Is there a fix? Working with 55 students, 'twould be nice to know if one had sent me a message (please reply on my user page)dmccabe 17:23, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
