Thanks again for visiting my page and for initiating the discussions in my discussion page.

You and your family should visit Fiji. It's a nice place to spend your holiday, especially around this time of the year when the weather is a bit cooler. And if you come around, you might also want to visit Tonga, the Cook Islands, or Vanuatu. Tonga is only an hour flight from Fiji.

I am interested in knowing more about home-schooling. I guess learning in the home is more natural and genuine than learning in the formal classroom. I admire your courage to start a homeschool.

As for the signature, I'm sure you are right - it's not going to be linked since I am in my own userpage. I've fixed (removed) the 'red' signatures.

Hi Vili,

Thanks for your note. Ah, about homeschooling. It's not so much that being home helps the learning, but rather that when a young person has charge of his/her own learning, the person can be motivated by what matters most to him/her, rather than to what matters most to the government (i.e., required tests) or particular teachers. There is so much knowledge that is worth knowing--each young person should play a major role in deciding what's important for him/herself to learn.

So, I'm still curious about how your signature was created that it comes up red (because it points to a mainspace page rather than your "User:" page). There are a few instances on your page; see the one in the learning contract and there are two instances in the "Feedback and Notes" section. Did you use the signature button to create these? It's quite the mystery. I've seen it happen with a few people.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
