Just a note about using someone elses templates in WE

I saw your note to Declan informing him about using his template ideas --- You are setting an example of being a wiki neighbor in our community -- i.e. honouring and recognising the work of others.
This is the power of a free content license -- we can reuse and adapt templates content etc without first obtaining permission from the original author.
Godfrey -- I can see that you're going to become a leader in our community. Glad to have you on board!

Glad to see that my own approach to using borrowed code is encouraged. The code Godfrey borrowed from me was in turn partly borrowed from Dennis, and partly from my old wikia site where a user there set it up for me. So, continue to spread the wealth and we all learn! What I particularly like is that you have modified the code yet again; thus we don't all have a uniform look that would quickly become a tired look. Cheers Dmccabe 03:21, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
