Hello Finally

Jump to: navigation, search

Finally! I made it! And my one year old just picked and tried to eat a nice red chillie from my vege garden!!! Ouch! Doesn't seem to have had any effect....YET - bodes well for future non fussy eating one would think! - but will make this quick just in case!

I live in Papamoa with my husband Olaf and son (chillie eater) Finn.

I'm self employed and as a contractor completing a huge variety of education related type work. My background is in marine and environmental education and i spent ten years working at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic teaching applied sciences - mainly Marine Studies. I'm currently an almost full time mum and work semi part time... at least one day a week - but sometimes more.

This is only my second e-learning course. I really enjoyed the last one - although it was a bit full on at times as i was juggling a new baby at the time! - Am really looking forward to this one!

Look forward to meeting you all - and was sorry i couldn't hook up for the meeting times last week!

Talk to you all soon :]

Hello Rika Chillis oh no! Great to see you are up and running. It is good to see a fellow scientist - I spent many years studying biology and zoology and used it for a number of years teaching bioscience in nursing and midwifery at Otago Polytechnic. Now I am a Jill of all in educational development. The science still keeps popping up! Love it. I look forward to hearing your ideas about evaluation. Bronwyn

Hi Rika, you have me intrigued - what Marine Sciences do you teach? Is is biological or shipping?

Nice to meet you - how's the post-chilli son?

Cheers Jennifer
