Luisa & Shumi to give up date. Forecasted finacial statemnets are done and the first valuation of the share using the lecturer recommended methods and also using our source at the stock exchange recommended methods. Visit to Uganda Clays limited went well, except for the finance manager not being able to see us. He will only be availble on the week of the 12th of July. We need to speak to him just to check on our assumptions about dividend distribution, more investment in capacity, etc in some of the methods used. Draft is being worked on and will be circulated after our meeting with the UCL finance manager. Spoke to Marianne no problem in handing the assignment on the 26th, but strong recomendation that no team member is going to attend the finance classes on the the week of the 5th, which I believe no Lion member will do that.--Luisaserra 16:23, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

So did you get written assurance that we wont be pernalised by the lecturer? I know UNISA will trun around and try to make it our problme, yuet they started all the mess of flip flopping the due dates.

Jeremiah, i do not have anything in writing but i have waht marianne spoke to me. I do not feel very confortable in asking for it in writing when the academic head has written that letter.--Luisaserra 16:33, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

This is UNISA we are dealing with, we need to be cautious, and to be able to cover our backs. I would urge you to formalise your telephone conversations through email - who knows what when things may chnage, and we will be left with no cover at all.....

Ofcourse, no Lion will be there for the 5th. SBL really needs to get their act in tune with the rest of the "efficient" world. As JC has asked, do we have a written confirmation from Marian or SBL that there will be no penalty?

Lions, i will speak again to Marianne and come back to you on it. When i spoke to her she even mentioned Kruger letter that prof. Serumaga will be watching who enters the classroom on those days, so any chnaces of plagiarism will be dealt with. I will request for a reply to my email, because I took the initiative of phoning since she was not responding to my email. I will give you all feed back on Monday.--Luisaserra 16:41, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
