Appendix 5: Internet Usage Table

The following tables provide an illustrative snapshot from the SchoolNet Namibia Website - a week's worth of internet usage in March 2004 (42 000 hits).

Sites most visited tended to be local newspapers, webmail and google. It appears that many of our internet connected educational clients struggled with existing Microsoft packages on their standalone or networked fat clients, and then compensated by getting virus updates from Symantec.
