I have been trying to create an iDevice like template that can be nested inside another template. It appears like the arguments within the DIV or header tags cause problems when this template is included in another template. The image is not a problem, the argument is not the problem, the tags themselves are not a problem, and the piped can be handled in certain cases using the exclamation point template.

Anyword that can be executed as a proper argument of the DIV or h1 tags causes the template to not load properly when it is included in another template (ie <h1 title> causes the header to have a tooltip with text "title". This causes the inclusion in another template to break.) This does not look positive for nestable templates that have styles or formatting.

Rob, i know that User:Phsi had some ideas about how to solve this problem. I think his idea was to have two templates, one for starting the 'template' and another for 'closing' it. I can't find his notes about it at the moment, but will keep looking or ask him about it. brent 03:11, 26 February 2007 (CET)
