Hamilton's Steeped Tea has been named No. 27 on Profit Magazine's list of Canada's 500 fastest-growing companies. The loose leaf tea business was started in 2009 by husband and wife Hatem and Tonia Jahshan out of their home. Their direct sales model has lead to revenue growth of 1,877 per cent and the couple won an investment on TV show Dragon's Den last year to expand into the United States. Tonia is also nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards and W100 Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs.
