Overall Comments

This team must be commended for:

  1. covering the information in an excellent and thorough manner, demonstrating a relatively exhaustive knowledge of the information,
  2. resourcefulness in not only the acquisition of relevant information but also in the presentation of the material,
  3. demonstrating a wide knowledge and understanding of the materials explored through the completion of all eleven (11) tutorials,
  4. going beyond the insights gained in the tutorials to create tables and presentations, and
  5. respecting intellectual property rights.

Thanks for the encouraging words --Nadhiya 08:54, 16 March 2007 (CET)

Excellent Work

Excellent work group three. WE would like to commend this group on demonstrating excellent wiki skills and for the wealth of information that was placed in the course.

I however think that an objective, which would lead to a final activity, would be:

  • to develop learner profiles in own territories.

That is indeed a very nice suggestion, thanks. This will be taken into account --Mohammad 07:51, 16 March 2007 (CET)

Yes indeed this is an excellent work, very professional and content is so comprehensive! Not only are your technical skills good but you really master the content, well done!!--Lephoto 08:12, 16 March 2007 (CET)

Good work

Please have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Section#Table_of_contents_.28TOC.29 and at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:TOCright to see how you can improve the start of your article.

Good use of color.

Excellent Work

Excellent Work Group3. The unit design, the content especially the objectives, the supporting research acitivities and links are all of high quality. One can easily get the sense that it is packaged material. The group is to be highly commended. The sense of "one author" really speaks to the cohesiveness of the group during the editing process. CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN--Ainsworthovid 09:19, 16 March 2007 (CET)GROUP4

Great progress - new pdf template

Hey Group 3 - great work. I thought I should let you know that Tatiana (here at COL) has set up a new pdf template.

The following syntax {{pdf|media:filename.pdf|The piped label}} appears like this:

Thoughts from Vancouver

I see now what you were trying to do with the slide shows, and why you need odt files to be enabled. Great idea! It will take me a while to get the slide show files enabled. However, please keep all the most recent odt file copies for me and we'll get these uploaded the moment the feature is enabled.

One advantage of uploading the odt's is that users can edit the files. Perhaps we should design a template which contains links to:

1. Pdf or swf version of the slide show for people viewing this directly from WikiEducator 2. A link to download the actual odt file

Keep it up! I'm very impressed with the work so far. --Mackiwg 15:36, 18 March 2007 (CET)
