Question on individual versus third-party (1)

I'm not sure about the individual versus third-party disctinction. Perhaps because of my "Commonwealth" English <smile>.

Wouldn't a better distinction be:

  • Self publishing and
  • Hosted third-part publishing?

Just a thought

I don't think it's a Commonwealth English issue. I agree that "self-publishing" would be a better description than "individual publishing." I've never heard of "third-part" publishing (might be a limitation of States English), but "third-party." What if I take out "third-part/party" and have "hosted publishing?" Of course, that isn't entirely accurate because even self-publishing involves some sort of hosting. Something to think on...

Oops -- a typo

Should be third-party publishing.

No problem, I've made my share. Changes have been made to the immediate sections, but there are references to "individual" throughout that I'll need to change as I find them. I'm still thinking about using the word "hosted," but haven't made any decisions.

Third-party sharing? (1)

I'm trying to think of a good term to refer to sharing via a third party. Any ideas?
