- Guys, the recommendations (Phase 4) can’t begin until all the phases are done. WE REALLY need this done by asap so that Luisa can give her feedback before she travels.
- If possible I’d like to do the interviews week beginning 18 July and finalise this document by the 23rd.
- I advised the lady requesting to join our group that we’ve moved to far for her to join. She accepted politely.
- Thanks Victor for sorting out the Phase 2 & 3…it’s a tougue twister.
- Feel free to write any closing remarks.

Shumi you need to set a firm date when the group should have submitted their initial drafts to you. The sooner the better or you will workl all night on Aug 1. We need to be firm, send out 2 emails to everyone and remind them in 2 senstences of their resposnibiluities and deadlines.
Noted JC. We've been missing firm deadlines for the past 2 months. I believe we all know what's at stake and we all have a share in the victory or loss...
Thanks Shumi. I suffered too much the last time trying hard to "cook" up references for our work. PLEASE lions, ensure we dont get into that mud once again.

Shumi, may i please add to all comemnts that we should all endeavour to add a lot of sources to our work and do proper referencing. I have just received the first assignment at that is what really brought us down mostly despite our best efforts. Will scann them and send.

I have not recieved anything from Calvin, or had any questions, On Wednesday he replied to my email saying he would deliver his first draft on Thursday or Friday, but never happened.I am almost done, and would have liked to have Calvin's input to put it all together.--Luisaserra 16:22, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, I spoke to him on Thursday and he promised to deliver. Am worried though that no questions have come thru. Is it possible to analyse the project environment of a company not known to you? Ill follow up with him tommorrow morn.
Phase 2 is for Victor and me. We have put together our document, and juts need completuion and tyding up. I am happy to share with the group, so that i can get feedback and comments. Shumi and Luisa you have received our working documents, and i am working hard to get it done. I hope to complete this by end of day today( US time).
I have a few questions for Luisa, and these are as follows:(A) Clarity on project A, B and C? (B) We will need help on ensuring clarity on Corporate vs. Business strategy for CBC, we have put together some wording?

Luisa, it would be good if you open the document that I sent you and you will see that Shumi had indicated that we do an anlysis of Project A, B and C? The question is are focusing on the 3 products - Sparkling, Water and Juice or we considered that as one Project. Then wwe will need to clatrify for Project B and C???? Shumi did send an email this afternoon asking you to explain on that. Merci.

Ok, regarding this issue of sparkling beverages, water and fruit juice, let me explain. When you decide to buy a PET line (a line that can bottle with plastic bottles) you can choose a line that only does the sparkling beverages, or the water beverages or the fruit juice beverages or you can have one which can do the 3 types of beverages and that is called a multi swing line. In Uganda we opted to go for the 3 types because it is the strategy of the Coca-Cola company worldwide to place itself in the market place as a fully non alchoolic beverage company. Regarding the Fruit Juice technology the Uganda line was the first line in the Coca-Cola worldwide system to use a technology called hot nitro fill technology, and this means that the bottling of fruit juice can be done using hot fill, this enables the reduction on the concentration of preservatives and uses nitrogen which can give stability and pressurize the bottle to make it hard, enabling the use of light weight preforms (these are the bottles in vial form arriving at the factory to be blown into bottle shape just before being filled)I belive you need to use this project as one project to enable Ugnada to position in the market a full beverage choice of drinks in PET which is a convinience pack. What I called Project A B and C are the various other projects that CBC was udertaking during this time period. ie CBC's total project profile. I believe there were no other projects running at the same time as the hotfill project. (luisa to confirm) JC we may have to restrategise on thise headings if my assumptions on CBC's project profile are correct.
JC, by this explanation, it means we forget about B and C and do a comprehensive analysis on the current project and how it fits into the corporate strategy. The presentation documents eg the Fanus document, gives some good insight.
Please add some theoretical quotes and references too.

Thanks, I saw the feedback. Its a pity none of them are on line to highlight further challenges. I believe Shungu's section still needs a lot more info.
