Contributor's Section

I've added a section for Contributors so that the people contributing to the project will be more visible. I think that this should facilitate communication. --David McQuillan 23:36, 10 September 2007 (CEST)

Index?

To me the two indexes on the front page seem slightly confusing. I think that we'd be better served by one. I think we should consolidate all of the entries to within either the "Computer Literacy Categories" structure or the "Full Index" structure. My preference is for CLC, but I would think that as I'm the one who set it up. What does everyone else think? --David McQuillan 24 August, 2007

I think we need a full index Dave because many people may not know how to find what they are looking for if we group things under a category. Later, once we have a long list of stuff, we can group then and regroup them into packages we think work together.. (?) --Leighblackall 05:49, 24 August 2007 (CEST)
I have come up with a new structure now, see what you think, if you don't like it we can go back to old. I however agree with Dave as I was having trouble placing items - there seemed to be two places something could go.Helen 06:07, 24 August 2007 (CEST)
I like it Helen. Best of both worlds :) --Leighblackall 06:09, 24 August 2007 (CEST)
I reckon we shouldn't use links on the titles yet.. let's build up the lists and then pass out to individual pages when we have something to put on them. --Leighblackall 06:45, 24 August 2007 (CEST)
I Agree - I noticed you have a lot of good stuff in your Networked learning page - should some of that be spread around these pages?Helen 23:32, 26 August 2007 (CEST)
I've been re-arranging some things. All of the stuff that was stored under Foundational Computer Literacy has been pulled back a level & is now under this page. I've added in links to download Acrobat, Open office & Google talk. I have made a direct link for knowledge of a personal computer system, and also for digital information literacy (before noticing the above discussion), but those are easily pulled back out again into subpages if we want to do that. I'm wondering if another section should be added - Free software downloads??--David McQuillan 07:09, 9 September 2007 (CEST)

OK Dave - I have pulled everything back to this page and removed the link to Foundational Computer Literacy - that page can become a ghost now.--Helen 00:11, 10 September 2007 (CEST)

General

This will be a cool resource!
