I wonder if we should change the final activity into an e-Tivity type format requiring a blog post.
See for example the structure of the template in this e-Activity.
Conceptually the design of the course could have e-Activities which are graded (in other words using the e-Activity structure for activities which are graded and would then specify this in the assignment variable ). See here. And then also e-Activities which are not graded. Some courses have used a summative assessment design where learners can choose a specified number of their best "ungraded" e-Activities for inclusion into a specified assignment in addition to the graded activities specified in the course.
