Recommendation 31 Guidelines on the use of devices

Recommendation 31. We recommend that the Government require schools to establish guidelines on the use of devices at school, based on Ministry of Education guidance, which recognises the value of digital devices for learning.
Comment: A working party should draft a model guidelines document which schools can deemed to have adopted by default if they just accept it. Specific unique policies are too difficult and time-consuming for most school boards. --Ian Mitchell FIITP 23:58, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
