Welcome to RATN: The Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) is a network of training institutions in the Eastern and Southern Africa region. It was established in 1997 to provide a forum for communication and sharing of experiences between training institutions.

The Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) is an International Regional NGO working in ten countries in Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) region. These are Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Botswana, and South Africa. It is a network of twenty five Member Institutions (MIs) that was established in 1997 to combat STIs/AIDS in the region.

It was formed to establish a regional network of training institutions to provide skills training, upgrading, extension services and technical assistance to health and allied workers in HIV/AIDS in the ESA.
