Reflection

Consider the following questions:
  • What is my specialist area of expertise?
  • Before becoming a tertiary educator, what roles did I hold in my specialist area of expertise?
  • What knowledge and skills did I require for those roles?
  • How do I use those skills and knowledge in my teaching role?
  • What am I now doing that is different from those previous roles?
  • How can I move from novice to expert as a teacher?
