Overview of the tertiary education system in Seychelles
The country has a population of approximately 81 000 people with 35% reported to reside in rural areas and 26% of the population between 0 and 14 years of age. Over the last decade, the regional average enrolment of males and females in tertiary education was 5% (2002/2003). Gross enrolemnt figures for tertiary education are not available.
