PRE-REQUISITES
Year 12 Japanese with a satisfactory grade.
CONTENT
This course completes the study of Japanese at the Secondary School level. By the end of the course, students should have an understanding of and ability to use all the communication functions in level 1-8 of Japanese in the New Zealand Curriculum. Year 12 and 13 are combined classes at Papanui High School, and students study the different topics in class. However Year 13 students have to revise vocabulary, kanji and grammar for the topics covered in previous years. English is very important in this level. Students have to read English instructions very quickly and translate Japanese into English accurately.
ASSESSMENT
Total 24 Level 3 credits, all Achievement Standards.
