HISTORY 21F (Full Year) - HIS21F

PRE-REQUISITES
Students need to have achieved in Level 1 History or English to be eligible to enter 21F History.
CONTENT
Students investigate historical forces that have shaped the modern world. Topics will include:
- Origins of World War 1
- The Vietnam War and New Zealand's involvement
- Crisis in New Zealand 1900 - 1930
ASSESSMENT
Level 2 Achievement Standards consisting of 14 internally and 10 externally assessed standards.
COST
10.00 for photocopying plus possible field trip expenses
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Further study in the Humanities. History is an excellent grounding for careers in journalism, law, publishing, broadcasting, management, teaching and any job requiring developed communication and investigative skills.
