The forums.oeru.org site awards badges for participation in the community.

Badges are earned for various activities according to the specified criteria. Badges signify levels of activity in the community but also serve as a reminder to users of different ways they can engage on the site.

Badges are displayed publicly on your Userpage which can be viewed by any member of the community.

Examples of badges

There are over 20 different badges. Some badges can be awarded multiple times and others can only be earned once you have the required trust level for the respective badge. Examples of badges include:

Badge	Qualifying criteria
Autobiographer	Filled our user profile information
First like	Liked a post
First link	Added an internal link to another topic
First quote	Quoted another user in a post
First share	Share a post with someone you know
Nice post	Received 10 likes on a post (rewards quality)

Activity

Establish your badge count and badges you can earn

1. Login to forums.oeru.org and go to your user page by clicking on your profile image on the top right-hand side of your screen. Click on "Profile"
2. Scroll down to the "Badges" link and click to see your current list of badges.
3. Visit the site list of badges you can earn.
