I established a Consulting Firm called Futuristic, which has grown to be a leading local software development, IT Consultancy, IT Security and eLearning firm.
I have been involved in IT Training for the Corporate Market in 14 countries in Africa and I have acquired skills in managing large scale implementation of ICT Projects. I am a board member for the Free and Open Source Sofware Foundation for Africa(FOSSFA) and the Founder of the FLOSS4Edu project within WikiEducator. I belong to other professional organisations like ICPAK and ISACA. |
| Details of facilitation and/or teaching experience | I have facilitated several workshops to train participants in WikiEducator skills including 3 Workshops in Ghana, 1 in Cameroon, 1 in Nigeria, 1 in Uganda, 1 in Botswana and 5 in Kenya. Reports of these workshops and
other areas of my involvement are frequently published in the FLOSS4Edu section of WikiEducator. Working in conjunction with other FLOSS4Edu regional chapters, I have helped establish all the African FLOSS4Edu regional chapters and in building capacity to them in the area of OER Content Development. I have worked on the development of the OER Training Toolkit and the Learning4Content contract development. I look forward to build capacity to more people to join the FLOSS4Edu and WikiEducator movement |
| L4C Expression of Interest | My interest in Learning4Content is to help in bringing in large numbers of African Content Developers
who will help in transforming Africa from just consumers of knowledge but also producers and generators of knowledge. Every participant trained in this manner will also be required to develop content and build capacity on other people. This would have a "chain reaction" that will be fruitful to Africans. I have already made arrangements with 3 insitutions to participate on this initiative in Kenya. They include:
