==LESSON TOPIC Strength of Wet Tissue Paper Samples==Is a cat stronger than a lion?
CLASS Form One TARGET AUDIENCE Lower School
TIME Two periods
Pupils are familiar with group work and usually perform group tasks willingly and co-operatively. They are also competent at preparing and reporting on class investigations. They can interpret and draw data from tables. They are aware that there are different brands of tissue paper and that different brands of the same product can vary in quality. Pupils have also conducted fair tests in order to solve problems.
- Design an investigation to objectively test which brand of tissue paper is the strongest when wet.
- Conduct planned investigationsm using materials provided to gather data on relative strengths of tissue paper
- relate the results of a test conducted to compare the relative strengths og wet tissue paper to which is the best brand to buy.
CONCEPT Different brands of tissue paper have different strength when wet. Comparing the strengths of wet tissue paper can tell us which is the best brand to buy.
