This is the energy which is transferred by moving charges.

SI UNIT: J (Joule).

Formula: E = VIt, where E= electrical energy, V= Voltage, I= Current, t= time.

Example: A voltage of 100v drives a current of 2A. Calculate the energy transferred if the time taken is 1 minute.
