Moodle 2.1.0.0 comes with several built in themes, some with different combinations of manager definable settings.
- Arialist
- Brick
- Formal white
- Fusion
- Magazine
- Nimble
- Nonzero
- Overlay
- Sky High
- Splash
Themes with no Manager-level settings include:
Afterburner, Anomoly, Binarius, Boxxie, Formfactor, Leatherbound, Serenity

These were compiled from the http://demo.moodle.net site on July 8th 2011. There may be some errors. There is a screen Login > Site Administration > Appearence > Themes > Theme selector > Select theme that gives a smapshot of each theme.
- Magazine: four colours, background
- Arialist: link color, tagline
- Formal White*: font size, Choice of LOGO or heading, four colours
- Fusion: link colour (Nice colours/fonts) Manus above site title
- Arialist: Link colout
- Nimble: header background, link/link hover colour
- Brick: main colour, heading colour
