Roles

Site Technical Admin

  • Using drupal interface, manages configuration, maintenance of site.

Community Managers

  • user interface to create, delete, rearrange and moderate content, user groups, projects, mail lists, etc.

MITE Staff "Facilitators

  • User interface to create and edit content, create new projects (group workspace), moderate content. Access to secure home page for staff only. Contains staff "message center" blog with subscription, file sharing and links to external staff productivity and administrative tools.

Institutional Member Administrators

  • About 5 designated contact people at each Member organization who have password access to the secure Member Services Support area, as well as all other areas (accept above). They can edit information in their institutional home page and personal profile, participate in and start discussions.

Registered Users

  • Anyone who has created a login and password, filled out required fields in their registration profile (name, email, affiliation, role, email address). Registered users may participate in discussions and make comments.

Public User

  • views all open content.
