Teachers could make use of technology to design and improve lesson plans and then share these plans on the Internet with other teachers (who, in turn, can modify available lesson plans with a view to continuous improvement).
Laurillard and co-workers have been working on an online tool that teachers can use to design lesson plans - this tool is called the Pedagogical Patterns Collector (PPC). An eight-minute video will give you a good overview of the PPC.
