Your facilitator

Hi, my name is Helen Lindsay and I will be your facilitator during this course. I work in the School of Foundation Learning and the Learning Centre at Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin, New Zealand. I am presently employed at Otago Polytechnic to co-ordinate a TEC funded project to build capability in embedding literacy and numeracy into the teaching and learning of courses at level 1-5. This is currently a Government priority as unfortunately many students do not arrive to tertiary education already equipped with the necessary literacy and numeracy expertise required to meet the demands of their courses. I am a blogger and also occassionally create educational videos on youtube.
