Rosh Hashana

Rosh Hashanahal is a Jewish holiday commonly referred to as the "Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim(Days of Awe), or Asseret Yemei Teshuva (The Ten Days of Repentance) which are days specifically set aside to focus on repentance that conclude with the holiday of Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is the start of the civil year in the Hebrew calendar It is the new year for people, animals, and legal contracts. Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of man whereas five days earlier, on 25 of Elul, marks the first day of creation. I had a lot of fun at this holiday. I went to lots of parties and ate planty of apples. I celebrated the holiday at my boyfriends house with his whole family and a had a lot of fun. Rosh Hashana is a new year in jewish religion and it gives a chance to start everything all over again and helps you to correct you mistakes that you made in your life before the new year. I feel very proud of this religion, my religion and this holiday!
