Open Business Models are simply models that allow for a sustainable business while keeping open educational resources, content, and access free to the user. A common example is open textbook models. For example, "A sustainable future for open textbooks? The Flat World Knowledge story" describes how the textbooks are freely available on the internet, with sustainability made possible through the availability of optional printed textbook purchases.
