Activity

This is a group activity. Transport and accommodation types and services (travel products) are identified and described

Task

Transport

Identify and describe all these well known forms of transport

• rail
• ferries
• air
• rental cars

then pick two different forms of transport to take four different journeys (in the UK) which you think would be worthwhile for tourists to undertake

Accommodation

Provide examples of six different accommodation types and describe what makes them different

Travel Products

Travel products can be pre-purchased before travelling to a destination eg. transfers, travel passes, sightseeing, show tickets, admission to theme parks.

Identify four different suppliers/wholesalers in New Zealand and provide details of two different travel products from each company.
