Key decisions and action items

3rd Meeting of the CSF course team
  1. Reviewed action items from previous meeting
    • Noted that the intended target audience is still missing from the design blueprint in the wiki
    • Alexa advised that the video recordings are progressing.
  2. Confirming the design blueprint
    • Noted that we are unable to change the course structure and must work with the 15 credit course structure approved in the Otago Poly course specification.
  3. Noted impressive progress on CSF101
    • Confirmed that the subject mater experts (SMEs) will provide feedback on the CSF101 course materials by 8 May 2016 or sooner. Feedback should be posted on the corresponding discussion page in the wiki. Carol has requested that SMEs take a close look at the following pages:
      1. Startup: View and comment on Start here & About
      2. View and comment on E-activities for CSF101 here and here
      3. Learning Outcomes needed
  4. Confirmed target dates listed in the Gantt chart
    • Emphasised that it is imperative that the draft materials for the 4th micro course are completed by 30 May 2015 - We are not able to accommodate late delivery of these course materials.
  5. Noted that SMEs should provide examples for the candidate image list - the course designers are not experts in the discipline.
  6. Agreed to use "learning pathways" as the preferred nomenclature and will replace any references to "sessions" in the course materials.
  7. Wayne advised that he has contacted a graphic designer to quote on replacements for TNS images to ensure license compatibility.
  8. Alexa agreed to co-ordinate the development of a strap line for each of the micro courses.
  9. Agreed to schedule the 4th meeting of the team targeting the 3rd week in May 2016.
